When summer heat kicks in, our skin is the first to feel it—dehydration, clogged pores, and increased sun exposure can leave even the best routines needing a refresh. While silk is a staple for me year-round, it especially shines when paired with a thoughtful summer routine. From the fabrics you sleep on to the products you layer on, everything counts.

Here’s how I keep my skin glowing and hydrated during the warmer months—with a few of my personal favorites sprinkled in.


Double Cleansing Is a Must

Between sunscreen, sweat, and long days out and about, double cleansing is non-negotiable. I start with  LAIT EV by Biologique Recherche—it’s a milky cleanser that effortlessly removes SPF and makeup without stripping my skin.

Then I follow up with a second cleanse. I like to rotate between a few, but Hyalogy’s Hydrating Cleanser never misses. It gets deep without feeling harsh, which is perfect for summer skin.


Toner, Serum & Moisturizer—The Hydration Trio

After cleansing, I always apply:

  • A hydrating toner to rebalance and prep.

  • A serum tailored to what my skin needs that day (hydration is always a top priority).

  • A moisturizer that seals everything in while still feeling light on the skin.


My Nighttime Routine Finish: Balm & Silk

At night, I love to finish with a thin layer of Cera Balm by Danucera. It gives that final layer of nourishment, especially after a day in the sun. I pair that with a good eye cream and then—my non-negotiable—slip on my Primp by Parker silk eye mask.
